Kitchen Renovation
Looking back through our photo archives I discovered this favourite kitchen renovation from 2015. It was only a small job, but we enjoyed working on it and were very pleased with the end result.
Our client already had a beautifully designed and crafted back yard, deck and pool area. They were preparing to install a new kitchen as well as an outdoor kitchen in the existing entertaining area and enlisted our help to complete the renovation.
Demolition
We assisted our client by removing the old kitchen and flooring.
Structural and Window Changes
We removed the back doors at the BBQ area and installed a new wall for a bi-fold servery window which we installed. We also built a new wall from the corner of the house to the pergola support post to create the area for the outdoor kitchen, benchtop and splashback to be installed. We cladded both walls to match the existing house cladding.
Project Management
We organised the electrician and plumber to fit off the kitchens and a plasterer to patch the plaster and install the cornice for the bulkheads.
In addition to modernising, we were pleased to assist our client by creating flow between their internal and external living areas. We loved the overall result that blended the new internal and external kitchens with the existing back yard work already in place.
Five years on, this is still one of our favourite small renovation jobs!
