If it is a small project you may not need Council approval. A more elaborate alfresco area will likely require drafting plans, council approval, engineering consultation and surveys. We can assist with this process to make it as stress free and painless as possible.

Some decks or pergolas may not require approval. These are called Exempt Development and can be found by contacting your local council or by checking with us. Some decks and pergolas will require Council approval either as a Compliant Development or Development Application.
Yes, we are flexible and will try to accommodate changes. If the changes create additional work and/or material costs for us we will pass these on to you in the form of an ‘extra/variation’. Examples of extra/variations are unforeseen extra work required to complete the original work, a more expensive product than was quoted, changes to the plans provided or scope of work and additional work requested that was not in the original scope.
Hidden problems can be found when we start demolition and/or excavation. Examples of these might be structural problems, water damage, termite damage or asbestos.
