1950s home transformed to a modern day castle
Nestled in the foothills of Mt Ousley our clients turned their old 50s style home into a modern day castle complete with its own turret.
This large extension/renovation project was pretty much a new home rebuild on the original foundation.
We began with demolishing most of the original house and then extended up and out. We more than doubled the living space which added more room for this young family to grow.
We gave this home a totally new interior and exterior so it looks like a new home rather than an extension and renovation. Two eye-catching elements are the internal staircase and stairwell with hardwood handrail and steel pattern balusters and the stone covered external circular wall that resembles a turret.
Our clients are very happy with their new home and we are pleased with the end result.
